Masculinity and femininity are not all or nothing traits; they are truly a continuum. Your gender doesn’t dictate your actions and responses. We have been fed inaccurate information that can cause relationship frustration and even identity crises. Gender stereotypes are keeping people from truly understanding themselves and each other.
This project includes an interactive survey that shows live results, a small take home book explaining the project, and posters with data I acquired from the survey. My survey has two questions related to masculine stereotypes and two questions related to feminine stereotypes. Males answered questions using blue post it notes and females used pink post it notes. As people partook in the survey the clear tubes showed the mixture of colors and how people do not fit gender stereotypes.
